Having spent hours, days, and months in isolation working with people severely ill with covid, she saw first-hand the devastating effects that covid has on the mind, body and soul.  She quickly realized that this group of people was being left behind and this fueled her mission to launch her private practice in 2021.  Her persistent curiosity and growing dedication to Long COVID treatment has led her to develop algorithms and frameworks for the identification and management of Long COVID in the rehab setting.  As of recently, she has begun presenting her work on Long COVID to local, state and regional APTA conferences and universities to further advance the education in this emerging condition.

Additionally, she complements her grand rounds responsibilities with coordinating and editing the Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s quarterly APP newsletter.

In an academic setting, Becca found an exciting position in education with the Northeastern University Physician Assistant Program, now in a second year. She has been a guest lecturer for first-year students on diagnosis and management of common mental illnesses and participated as faculty in didactic year simulation labs, skills labs, and practical exams. She finds mentoring current PA students particularly rewarding, offering one-on-one tutoring for both didactic and clinical year students.

Outside of work, Becca enjoys hiking with her partner and two rescue dogs, paddle boarding, and traveling.
